SolarDesk ("we") provides CRM and quotation software to solar installation companies in Pakistan. This policy explains what data we handle and how we protect it.

1. Data we collect

  • Account details: your company name, city, and each user's name, email address and phone number.
  • Business data you enter: leads and customers (names, phone numbers, addresses, electricity usage), quotations, follow-ups, notes and your price list.
  • Contact form messages: the details you send us through this website.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and the pages used, collected for security and to keep the service running well.

2. How we use it

  • To run your account and show your data to the users in your company you have given access to.
  • To send service emails such as email verification and password resets.
  • To answer your questions and provide support. SolarDesk staff can view your company's data (for example your leads, quotations and price list) to help you set up, answer questions and fix problems. We do not change it unless you ask us to.
  • To protect the service against misuse, and to find and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use your customers' details to market to them.

3. Your customers' data

Each company has its own private workspace. The leads and customers you add belong to your company and are never shown to other companies. You are responsible for having your customers' permission to store their details.

4. Where data is stored and who processes it

SolarDesk runs on Microsoft Azure in the Central India region. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS), databases are backed up daily, and emails are sent through Azure Communication Services. Microsoft processes this data only on our behalf.

5. Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to protect forms against misuse. We do not use advertising cookies.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your company's data within 90 days, except where the law requires us to keep it longer. Backups expire automatically.

7. Your choices

Account owners can view and correct their company's data in the app, and export reports as CSV. To close your account or ask for a copy or deletion of your data, contact us.
